Tournament traditions of the 16U team:

We have a home plate that travels with us to each tournament.  The plate is hung in the dugout with pride.  The plate will get decorated by the MVT by adding something to it each tournament.

The Most Valued Teammate (MVT) is a player voted award.  Following the last game of the tournament the players get together and discuss amongst themselves who they think deserves the MVT.  The MVT displays sportsmanship, dedication, and the athlete who makes those around them better.  The player is also provided a sticker to add to their helmet.

We celebrate the most steals over the tournament weekend by providing a lightning bolt to add to their helmet.

We also celebrate the most quality bats for a tournament weekend by providing a sticker to add to their helmet.

The homerun balls are provided to the athlete when during tournament weekends they hit a homerun over the fence.  The player is also provided a sticker to add to their helmet.
