Tournament traditions of the 16U team:

We have a home plate that travels with us to each tournament.  The plate is hung in the dugout with pride.  The plate will get decorated by the MVT by adding something to it each tournament.

The shwings are given to the athlete with the most steal throughout the entire tournament weekend.  The athletes wear these with pride until the next tournament weekend.

The Most Valued Teammate (MVT) is a player voted award.  Following the last game of the tournament the players get together and discuss amongst themselves who they think deserves the MVT.  The MVT displays sportsmanship, dedication, and the athlete who makes those around them better.

The best batting average for the tournament weekend will also be awarded for the tournament weekend.

The homerun balls are provided to the athlete when during tournament weekends they hit a homerun over the fence.
