A little information on how HC Bombers formed.  A couple of coaches started coaching together starting in an 8U recreation league.  They were trying to find a way in 2019 to keep a core group of 6 recreation league friends playing softball together.  There was mention amongst the parents that they should form a travel team.  The recreation team that they were currently coaching was name Bombers.  During many late night conversations, the HC (Hancock County) Bombers team was formed.  The first year was destined to be a little rough, little did they know that COVID would affect the entire season.  Since the start of the team, they have incorporated the team and received 501(c)(3) status as well.  We love to continue to watch the athletes grow within the team.  They were very fortunate for the first three seasons to have Coach Shelbie Stotts with the team and continued to keep the majority of the team from season to season.  They built the organization around trying to keep athletes together from season to season, focus on athletes' grades, focus on softball development of the team, and providing a collegiate level athlete to be the head coach of the team.
